Our Work
The NTCA leadership, members, and staff currently work on projects in the following areas:
- Raising Awareness through NTCA’s work and collaborations with partners to increase public and policymaker awareness about TB, its impact, and resources needed for TB prevention and care.
- Events such as the annual National TB Conference and periodic webinars to raise awareness about TB and offer professional development and networking opportunities to public health staff; best practice forums to foster the exchange of information, templates and tips; and membership meetings.
- Publications and Tools developed by NTCA and in collaboration with partners to inform and assist public health program managers, nurses, clinicians, and
epidemiologists in their TB-related work. - TB Drug Availability to document shortages and price increases, to clarify steps to submit patient assistance requests, and to work with pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, and partner organizations to secure an adequate supply of affordable tests and tools to diagnose TB and drugs to treat TB infection and disease.
