August 8, 2025 – The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) has just released a new
resource on their INSPIRE Readiness – Innovation Exchange portal, titled “Lessons from
Tuberculosis Outbreak Response.” This resource shares best practices and lessons learned from
TB readiness, including provider readiness, understanding transmission patterns, and scaling
response infrastructure, which can guide preparedness and response strategies for a wide range
of infectious threats. Jason Cummins, NTCA’s President, is featured.
