The deadline for submitting abstracts for the 2026 National TB Conference has been extended to Friday, April 24, 2026.
We welcome the submission of abstracts for poster presentation on any aspects of TB control, care, prevention, and elimination. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, TB epidemiology, clinical care, basic science/translational research, nurse case management/nursing, social/behavioral/psychosocial interventions, TB education and training, health equity, and the outcomes or evaluation of program initiatives. Abstracts will be reviewed and accepted based on on-time receipt, originality, content quality, appropriate use of methodology, and relevance to TB control, prevention, and elimination, or to the TB laboratory, as determined by the abstract committee members.
The following rubric will be used to score the abstracts:
- Quality/clarity of writing: 0-5 points
- Originality: 0-5 points
- Structure, Content, and Methods (suitability, validity): 0-5 points
- Relevance of findings: 0-5 points
