In a joint collaboration, the National Society of TB Clinicians (NSTC), Curry International TB Center, and Heartland National TB Center announce an upcoming webinar, Updates to Management of TB Meningitis, scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026, at 8:30-10:00 ET/9:30-11:00 CT/10:30-12:00 MT/11:30-1:00 PT.
This webinar will highlight the clinical management of TB meningitis including use of standard versus high-dose rifampin. This lecture was first presented during the NSTC Professional Development Track at the 30th National TB Conference hosted by NTCA. The presenters are Felicia Chow, MD, MAS, Professor of Neurology and Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, and Barbara Seaworth, MD, Professor of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler and Co-Medical Director of the Heartland National TB Center. The webinar will be moderated by Lisa Chen, MD, Medical Director/Principal Investigator at the Curry International Tuberculosis Center and University of California, San Francisco, and Janice Louie, MD, MPH, NSTC President and Medical Director of the San Francisco Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program.
