This webinar series will explore various aspects of TB in women, with a focus on reproductive health and pregnancy. The goal is to strengthen healthcare provider knowledge and skills and to develop a better understanding of the differences in presentation, diagnosis, impact, and treatment of TB infection and disease in women of reproductive age. Topics will include epidemiology, pharmacokinetic aspects, genitourinary TB and infertility, diagnosis and treatment of TB infection and disease during pregnancy, and considerations and management of mother and child during the postpartum period. The format includes lectures, TB survivor lived experiences, case studies, and panel discussions.
This webinar is open to physicians, advanced practice nurses, public health nurses, and others who are involved in the diagnosis and management of persons with TB.
